Filter Screens for YKM screen changers are woven from high-tensile strength, Stainless Steel wire. They are readily available in thirteen different grades, from 50 to 500 "mesh". These screens are woven in a strong, "Reverse Dutch Twill" pattern, so that only the very finest grades, 200 mesh and up, need to be used with a single back-up layer.
